We honestly never really thought about going to Hawaii because we heard flights are expensive, and everything in Hawaii is expensive. In March 2018, a deal came up, and we were able to fly to Hawaii at $266.80/pp roundtrip! We really had no reason not to go — so off we went!

Since this was our honeymoon, it (kind of) justifies our spending of roughly $5,000 on this trip, which includes:

• Round-trip flight from EWR to HNL
• Three (3) Interconnecting Flights to 3 islands
• Three (3) Car Rentals (total of 13 days)
• Three (2) AirBnB Stays (total of 9-nights)
• One (1) Resort Stay (total of 4-nights)
• Food, Gas, Activities, etc (total of 13 days)

With that said, we created a lot of memories and that is always priceless. But budgeting will probably be the first thing we work on for our next trip 😅
